After the success of the Xplore baitboat, we fine-tuned it further.
The undermal is made of reinforced
6mm ABS plastic. Also, the feed valve mounting and feed valves have been redesigned, because of the new stainless steel feed valve steps, the feed valves open even smoother.
Thanks to the newly designed motor/servo bracket the mounting is a piece of cake. This eliminates error margins during assembly.
Of course, the excellent sailing characteristics and the very short turning circle are unchanged.
The Xplore baitboat MKII is a lightweight and compact baitboat and has a feeding capacity of approx. 2.5 kg. This makes the baitboat easy to use and very manageable. The baitboat weighs less than 5 kg incl. battery.
Also the sailing characteristics of the Xplore baitboat MKII are excellent.
Thanks to the handmade stainless steel rudder, the Xplore baitboat has a very short turning circle!
We have converted our years of experience into the development of this baitboat.
The Xplore baitboat MKII is a
fully developed by Berns Baitboats.
The production takes place entirely under our own management, and is built entirely by hand.
Standard the Xplore baitboat MKII is already very complete with a.o.: transmitter, digital battery indicator, lighting can be switched via hand transmitter and a Lithium-ion battery.
The Xplore baitboat MKII is a very durable baitboat and will be finished with the better parts from the modeling world.
Because of the special custom made stainless steel rudder, the Xplore baitboat has a very short turning circle and is steady on course.
The Xplore baitboat MKII comes with an Intelligent Power Lithium-ion battery. A number of advantages of the Lithium-ion battery are:

- Electronically protected against deep discharge and overcharging.

Color illumination:
Standard the Xplore baitboat MKII comes with blue digital voltmeter, blue back leds' and blue lighting pressure switch. Optionally the colors red and green can be chosen. Keep in mind that this will extend the delivery time.
Intelligent Power Lithium-ion battery:
The Xplore baitboat MKII comes standard with the Intelligent Power 11.1V 8,800mAh lithium-ion battery.
Optionally, we can also supply the Intelligent Power 11.1V 12,000mAh Long Performance lithium-ion battery. This lithium-ion battery has 35% more capacity than the standard lithium-ion battery.
Dimmable LED lighting (optional)
With this option it is possible to continuously dim both front and rear LEDs on the hand transmitter. This makes it possible to set the desired brightness under all circumstances. Dazzling yourself by too bright lighting is a thing of the past.
The digital voltmeter and the LEDs of the stainless steel pressure switches can be switched on separately via the hand transmitter.
Dimming range: stepless 0% - 100%.
Backup battery system (optional)
When the main battery runs out while sailing, it is possible to switch to the back-up battery via the hand transmitter.
This way you will never have an empty battery while sailing.
When the backup battery is activated, this is visible through an extra LED next to the digital voltmeter.
The voltage of the backup battery and the main battery can be read on the digital voltmeter.
Comes with Intelligent Power 11.1V 4.4A lithium ion battery.
Battery alarm (optional)
When the battery has reached a low voltage, the alarm will sound. When the alarm goes off, you still have enough time to sail to the shore to change the battery.
This prevents an empty battery while sailing
Winch camera set (optional)
Want to know more about the place where you fish? Would you like to know what the bottom of the water looks like? With the Winch camera system you can view live images of the bank. The Winch camera system is easy to mount on the Xplore Baitboat MKII with the plug and play system.
Bait Spreader (optional)
Instead of unloading your food at once, you can use the Bait Spreader to disperse your food. This gives a new dimension to the use of your food boat and will undoubtedly bring you more fish.
Spread your food in a diameter of up to 10 - 15 meters with the Bait Spreader. With the Bait Spreader you can distribute up to 1.3kg of food. This makes it possible to create larger feeding spots.
The Bait Spreader is fully developed by Berns Baitboats. The production takes place in-house. The Bait Spreader is manufactured by ABS plastic. The motor and cable are fully integrated in the housing.
The Bait Spreader comes with an extra lid.

Front camera system, with 'night vision' camera. incl. 5" screen (optional)
We have expanded our range with the built-in front camera system. Ideal for fishing under bushes or near clumsy leaves or obstacles.
With the included lightweight 5" screen you can view the distance and obstacles perfectly. Thanks to the 'night vision' camera you still have perfect visibility even during the dark hours.
The camera is mounted in the fuselage of the Xplore baitboat MKII (in stead of the beam). Because of this, the camera is neatly concealed and can't be damaged during use and transport.
The camera can be switched on via the hand-held transmitter.

Raymarine Dragonfly 5 Pro, Downscan and Sonar, baitboat edition
The most detailed fishfinder for use on fishing boats. Thanks to the DownScan and Chirp technology, plant vegetation and underwater obstacles are clearly visible. With the sonar it is also possible to determine the hardness of the bottom and present fish are visible.
With Raymarine's Wi-Fi application you can convert your smartphone or tablet into a true depth gauge.
Comes with an external amplifier and voltage regulator so you always have a stable and strong signal.

Berns GNSS autopilot set V2
The newest and most advanced autopilot set from Berns Berns Baitboats.
This is the most accurate autopilot system for baitboats available on the market.
The Berns GNSS autopilot set V2 works in combination with Android tablets. The Berns GNSS autopilot set V2 works on 2 different apps;
- Tower app (free)
- Baitboat autopilot app (available in 2 different subscriptions)
The Tower app is a free (downloadable from the website). Tower is not specially designed for barges. The language is English.
The Baitboat autopilot app was developed together with Berns Baitboats. The operation of this app works by means of 'touch and go'. This makes the app very easy to use.

The baitboat autopilot app is available in 2 different subscriptions. The beginners subscription for € 9.99 p/year and the advanced subscription for 19.99 p/year. The subscription is free to try for 7 days.

With the beginners subscription you can connect via USB, with the advanced subscription you can connect via USB and bluetooth (for this, the radio module must be equipped with bluetooth).
The advanced subscription you can use offline maps (under construction).
Search through the fishfinder for the ideal waypoint and store this waypoint easily in the tablet. After loading the saved waypoint, the Xplore handmade baitboat sails fully automatically to the spot. This allows you to find your spot even in the dark and during fog. The Berns GNSS autopilot set V2 can be switched on via the handheld transmitter and via the tablet. With the Berns GNSS autopilot set V2 both the normal map and satellite map (Google Maps) can be loaded.
It is also possible to let the Xplore handmade baitboat sail to multiple waypoints in a row (course).
Contrary to other baitboat GPS navigation systems we work with the GNSS system.
GNSS works with multiple satellite systems (GPS America, Galileo Europe, Glonass Russia, Beidou China). GNSS can receive up to 3 times more satellites than GPS. The accuracy of the GNSS system is therefore many times higher than GPS systems. The accuracy of the GNSS system is many times higher than GPS systems.
The Xplore baitboat MKII, in combination with the Berns GNSS autopilot set V2 is delivered with the 10 channel FlySky FS-i6 X digital 2.4Ghz transmitter set (range 200-300 meters) or the 8 channel Futaba T6K 2.4GHz T-FHSS transmitter set (range 300-500 meters). Both transmitter sets work through the modern BUS system. The receiver is connected to the module by a 3-core cable only (+/-/signal). The entire control of the feed boat takes place via the module.

The Xplore baitboat MKII is a custom made product. Before the start of production we ask for a deposit of at least 20% (with the exception of online payments, such as: Ideal, PayPal, IN3, Bankcontact Spraypay)
